01 | DMCA Notice & Takedown Policy
“How we handle alleged infringement”
The Institute for Quantum Innovation and Impact (The Qii) serves as a neutral intermediary service provider under the Library Safe Harbor protection, and will comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Rights-holders may send a written notice (name, contact, copyrighted work, infringing URL, good-faith statement, electronic signature) to the designated agent ([email protected]). Upon valid notice, the disputed content is removed or disabled, and the contributor is notified. A counter-notice process lets contributors challenge mistaken claims. Repeat infringers may lose posting privileges. This procedure preserves Qii’s §512 “safe-harbour” status while balancing fair-use claims.
02 | Host & Story Commons Policies
“How we hold the archive”
Sets the ground rules for public hosting of Moment-of-Truth stories. Contributors keep full ownership but grant Qii a non-exclusive licence to publish and archive their narratives. A clear take-down path exists for consent-withdrawal, court orders, defamation, or copyright claims. Qii does not edit meaning, does not endorse contributor views, and applies neutral tags only to aid search, not to rank or promote ideology. Learn more here.
03 | Researcher Positioning and Pattern Interpretation Policies
“How we analyse responsibly”
Distinguishes contributor stories from Qii’s system-level analysis. All thematic maps or pattern briefs reflect the researchers’ interpretation, not any single storyteller. Every story or research file is version-controlled and timestamped; prior versions stay accessible for citation integrity. Consent tiers guide public, pseudonymised, or internal use, and biometric data are not fed into AI/ML with recursive memory without explicit advance permission. External researchers must cite per CC BY-NC-ND 4.0.

04 | Ethical Stewardship Policies
“How do we protect innovators and entrepreneurs?”
Qii centres contributor agency: stories can be revised or removed anytime and are kept in the contributor’s own voice. No quotes are reused beyond stated consent tiers. The document commits Qii to cultural sensitivity, community review where appropriate, and transparent attribution choices (name, initials, pseudonym, or anonymous). Aggregated insights are not presented as universal truths. Learn more here.
05 | Creative Commons
“The licence on every public story”
The Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives (CC BY-NC-ND) 4.0 International Deed states that anyone may share the material in any medium as long as they:
① give proper attribution,
② link to the licence, and
③ indicate changes (none allowed).
They may not remix, transform, build upon, or use it commercially without separate permission. The licence guarantees perpetual free access yet safeguards contributor voice from commercial exploitation or unwanted alteration. Learn more here.
